COO – Chief Operating Officer

Kenya Rice, although born in Ann Arbor MI, has spent most of her life in Conway, South Carolina and fondly calls this town home. She pursued a degree in Finance with a focus on wealth management at Coastal Carolina University, she’s an Alumni of AmeriCorps Vista receiving training in non profit development, grant writing, and donor relations. She has also received two certifications; one in Leadership Coaching, and the other in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the Transformational Leadership School at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

With over 10 years in Human Resource and 15 years in the Political and Nonprofit sector, she has a diverse skill set in project management, communications, community engagement, fundraising and relationship building. She has worked for high profile companies such as IBM, Lenovo, Duke Clinical Research Institute, Duke Medical Center, GlaxoSmithKline, NOW Organization, and the Salvation Army; also, worked on many high-profile political campaigns ranging from congressional and gubernatorial to presidential.

In addition to all the above she has impacted her community by working pro bono for small black business owners and nonprofits organizations that directly have an effect on marginalized neighborhoods.
