Chairman of the Board

Originally from Binghamton, New York, Dan Sine moved to Surfside Beach in 1997 to study at Coastal Carolina University. After graduating in 2001, he started his career as a residential Realtor and has been with Dunes Realty Sales since 2006. Dan’s dedication to community development is evident in his past leadership roles, including serving as the President of Habitat for Humanity of Horry County’s Board of Directors and multiple Homeowners Associations. He’s also been a key figure in Coastal Carolina University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, including as Chairman. He’s a Leadership Grand Strand graduate, a founding member of the Grand Strand Young Professionals, has Chaired the Town of Surfside Beach Stormwater Committee, and a Zoning Board of Appeals board member.

Dan is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance (MBDA), reinforcing his commitment to community improvement, particularly in Downtown Myrtle Beach’s Municipal Improvement District. He’s also the Chairman of Professional Standards for the South Carolina Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors and Chairman of the Balmoral Homeowners Association Architectural Review Committee.

As an alumnus, Dan actively supports the Chanticleers and values all that the City of Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand offers. He lives in The Market Common area of Myrtle Beach with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Shane.
