Jacob Smith
Board Member
A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jacob Smith grew up surrounded by the hospitality industry. His family-owned business, Sandy Beach Resort on Ocean Boulevard, instilled in him a deep appreciation for the Grand Strand’s tourism sector.
After earning an Economics degree from Wofford College, Jacob furthered his education with a law degree from Charleston School of Law. Throughout his career, he has worked at Sandy Beach Resort and in the real estate industry.
A dedicated community leader, Jacob serves on the Board of Directors for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance.
Jacob resides in Murrells Inlet with his wife, Brucie, and three children.
