F. Jerome Randall was born and reared in North Myrtle Beach /Little River, SC. He is a graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School. He attended SC State University where he obtained a
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He also played football for the Hall of Fame Coach Willie Jefferies at SC State. Randall earned a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical
Counseling from Webster University and is a Graduate of Leadership Grand Strand Class 31. Jerome is a 2023 Leadership Grand Strand Ann DeBock Nominee. He has been employed by the Horry County Public Defender’s Law Office for 31 years, and is currently the Chief Investigator. He’s also a licensed Real Estate Agent, License Contractor, and the owner of FJR Construction & Consulting Firm, LLC.

 
Randall is a member of the Upsilon Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Inc. Silver Star Lodge #333, Palmetto State Law Enforcement Officers Association, Founding member of the SC Public Defender Investigators Association, Member of National Defense Investigators
Association, Founder of the Randall Foundation Inc. Former member of Horry County Parks and Open Space Board, Former Vice Chair of  Horry County Planning and Zoning Commission District 1 , Currently Chairman for Horry County Higher Education Commission. Board Member of Coastal Carolina Athletic Foundation (CAF), Board Member of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance Board (MBDA) Former Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Diversity Council Board, and many other civic and professional organizations.


Randall is a dedicated community advocate and has implemented ways to improve and make his community better. Randall is passionate about our future leaders, our youth and has been a volunteer football, baseball, and basketball coach with the city of North Myrtle Beach, Horry
County Parks and Recreational and is currently a volunteer football coach with the City of Myrtle Beach & Myrtle Beach High School. 
Randall enjoys cutting grass, building, and spending time with his family. He is married to Wanda Austin-Randall and is the proud father of two young men Austin and Adam Randall. 

His life motto is, “If I can help someone along the way, then my living will not be in vain.”
