Board Member

Spencer Benton is a Supervisor at C. L. Benton and Sons, Inc. A native of Myrtle Beach, he was raised up and around the construction industry with his brother, Edward, receiving first-hand knowledge of how the company operates. As a former Clemson Tiger and Dallas Cowboy, Spencer demonstrates a determined mindset of striving to be the best.

A full-time employee of C. L. Benton since 2015, he is a certified Crane Operator and handles the company’s pile-driving services. Spencer received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology, with a minor in Athletic Leadership, from Clemson University. He is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach, where he volunteers with the Youth Group, is a member of the Fellowship Committee, and is a member of the Gathering Band. During his free time, Spencer likes to be with his wife, his two boys and daughter, his Standard Poodle, Grizzly Bear, and chasing the waves.
